Join us to celebrate our marriage for a week in France’s Loire Valley.
Our vision
We’re very excited to party with our closest family and friends at a private villa for a week in France’s Loire Valley in celebration of our marriage.
———
Travel has always been one of our favourite things to do together, and some of our most precious memories come from these trips. Banff, Australia, Hawaii, Italy, Korea — we have always loved adventuring together with great food and amazing photos. For us, celebrating our love and commitment to each other on a magical trip abroad just makes sense.
———
While we’ll be doing the legal bit privately at home beforehand, we are very excited to bring our favourite people together under one roof to connect and make some memories together as a very newly married couple. It will be our first time travelling as the Hawco’s! We can’t wait to see you there.

Suggestions for things to do nearby included elsewhere on the website. We will share any activities we plan to book closer to, for those who wish to join.
Where we’re staying
Our home for the week will be the Chateau de la Bouillerie in the Loire Valley, less than 2 hours from Paris.
On the property there is a 17th century castle, a separate guest house, a small chapel, a pool, and a tennis court.
Things to do
The Loire Valley has something for everyone, with Paris less than two hours in one direction and the Atlantic coast in the other.
While you’re welcome to relax at the Chateau for the entirety of your stay, we’ve pulled together recommendations for other things to see and do while in France.
